Nothing left to lose

It's hard growing up realizing the word isn't what it seems, or what you were told. you never know whats gonna happen next, time may repeat itself, all your trusted loved ones could just go.. POOF! or you could just forget to drink a cup of coffee in the morning? but i have a story to tell. october 23, 7:01am, my alarm just went off and as the days go by its getting harder and harder to wake up. “RAVEN LEICHENBURG!!” my mom shouted as she threw a bag containing something that resembled a school uniform, “get up, im sending you to a boarding school.” “W-WHAT?! WHY?!” i jump out of my bed in shock and confusion. “Remember that entrance exam you did a while ago?” “...yeah? You said i failed that one.” i spoke in disappointment. “You really didnt–i let you take that exam because your dad went off with some prickly blonde bitch but i didnt wanna confront him until i knew you got accepted into that damn school so i could finally confront his ass and get you out of here to deal with things independently. no way in hell am i gonna raise a 16 year old with no help, so start packing!” she said as she organized some of the papers on my desk before she left. Turns out she was just jealous of my dad having a hot girlfriend after my mom and him got divorced. “FINE!” i yell as she slams my door. Honestly, i never wouldve thought going to that sketchy boarding school would change my life forever.
